About the Author

Cecelia Hopkins-Drewer grew up in the Barossa Valley, an area of South Australia predominantly settled by German immigrants. Cecelia remembers the struggle to learn to read – and reading was a slow process until one birthday, she sat down with her gift, and the mystery story was so exciting, she finished it in one session. She has wanted to write her own stories ever since!

WRITER. EDUCATOR. AUTHOR. POET. PUBLISHER. TUTOR.

These girls share a room with Stephanie Lowood, the subject of the first book, in subsequent years so they can continue to tell her story as well as add their own romantic adventures. You will not believe some of the things that happen next!

Poetry Appreciation and Analysis Skills

Online course will close due to OpenLearning asking $19/month from Educators.

  • The online course was found at  https://www.openlearning.com/courses/poetry-appreciation-and-analysis-skills. It allowed students to interact with Cecelia and expand their understanding of poetry. Diligent effort could result in an improvement in school or university performance.

  •  The author has considered redesigning the course and posting as a workshop series on Udemy. Watch this space for notification of any other opportunities.
